Orlando International Airport

Also known as MCO. On exiting the immigration control area, which is on the 1st floor, simply follow the signs for “Car Rental Desks” which is down a large double escalator under the main Orlando departures and arrivals sign. All on airport Orlando MCO Car Rental desks are on the ground floor next to the baggage carousels. Once you have signed your car rental contract proceed to the car rental garage which is directly opposite the desks, and less than a 75 metre walk. The Orlando location, works on the exciting “Free Choice” service which means that you can choose the make, colour and size of car or mini van from the selected catorgarory that you have booked.

Orlando Sanford

Also known as SFB. This is the smaller of the two Orlando Airports and is mainly serviced by the Charter Airlines such as the UK’s Monarch. Sanford Airport is about 30 minutes north of the central Orlando area and is clearly sign posted from the Orlando Disney Resorts. The Orlando Sanford car hire desks are a 5 minute walk from the main baggage carousels, with both the car hire desks and car hire pick up all in the same small complex.

Miami Airport

Also known as MIA. Miami Airport is booked by visitors to southern Florida such as the Florida Keys and the beach resorts of Naples, Fort Myers and of course Miami itself. However, many airlines including British Airways and Virgin often offer cheaper flights to Miami than those directly to Orlando, so many regular travellers use this routing and accept the three hour drive between Miami and Orlando for the flight cost savings. All car rental companies at Miami International Airport are based on the parameters of the airport serviced by transfer shuttles. On exiting the baggage claim hall, follow the signs for “car rental” this will bring you to a service area on the ground floor, at which point you must go to shuttle bus stop B. The shuttle will take you the 5 minute transfer distance to the car hire location. Miami MIA is a “Free Choice” location which means you will have the choice of the make, colour and size of mini van or car you have chosen within the category booked.

Tampa Airport

Also known as TPA. Tampa Airport is located on the beautiful Florida Gulf Coast, in the south eastern suburbs of Tampa City. Tampa is approximately a 1.5 hour direct drive on the interstate I4 motorway to Orlando, 1.30 hour from Naples, 1.15 to Fort Myers and Cape Coral and only 30 minutes to St Petes and Clearwater the nearest Florida Beach Destinations. The car hire location is on the Tampa Airport perimeter road serviced by a shuttle every 5 minutes during peak periods and every 15 minutes at all other times. The shuttle bus stop is clearly marked on the ground floor outside the baggage claim area, and the shuttle takes less than 5 minutes to the car hire location. Tampa International Airport is a “Free Choice” location giving you the choice of the make, colour and size of mini van or car at the time of collection with the rental category booked.
